This is just a short entry for me to post today. I only want to wish everybody a "Happy Valentine's Day". I hope you are enjoying your day. Life is fun if you have someone to share it with. Ah...yes, as long as you and your partner are not on each other's throat that is...LOL. As for us, we are very much home bound at this time since our children have gotten sick with a cold. So we couldn't really go anywhere. Anyway, this is the day we like to let our loved ones know how much we care about them more than any other time. It is a special day for all of us. Okay until here for now. I am kinda busy with preparing our dinner. Hugs and kisses to all...muah!!! Kind regards as well...wink.

I hope everyone had a fine time welcoming the year 2009! My people as I know of, usually stays up until 12 A.M to welcome the New Year. I can even still remember that I stayed up the whole night. And as just a young girl at the time, I surprised myself that I was able to do so. Holidays are sure better spent with family, friends, and relatives. I like it if my relatives come over to spend the holidays with us, as it just makes all the difference to make the holiday so much more fun and exciting. Over here, we only have ourselves unless, of course, some of our relatives decide to take the extra mile with traveling just to come to our house for the holidays. Now as for my New Year resolution, maybe I should not have any, because nothing really happens like I often hoped. One thing for sure though, I would need to save money from here on. I learned how important saving money is, especially with meeting goals. So, that is what I'll try. I always say I need to save money, but I'll see if I can put my money where mouth is. I wish that this year will bring better things and opportunities for all of us. Alright, I've got to go for now. Happy New Year!!!

We just arrived from going trick or treating. The weather wasn't so bad, so we had a fun time as usual. We just didn't get to take a lot of pictures though, my husband is not really into picture taking; a snap from one scene to another is enough. So, I don't often have a lot of pictures to share. I tried to take some more pictures but my husband was rushing (we were running late), so I couldn't just hang around taking pictures. Anyway, I hope the rest of you out there had as much fun and took enough pictures to be able to share with the people that care. It's fun to capture the special moments we make in life, and taking pictures during the holidays just makes it more fun. Okay, this is all for now. Have fun everyone!!! I apologize for not returning your greetings at Friendster because I couldn't get through for a couple of nights now. I guess I am left behind for doing things the last minute. Perhaps the holidays over saturated the server with people logging in all at once which in the process; Friendster must have ran out of bandwidth.

Hi everybody, how was your day today? As for us, we got up early to send our daughter to school as usual. Only today, I took some time to prepare her outfit making sure that she wears something that has red, white, and blue colors to show our support; in remembrance of the 9/11/01 and those who perished that day. Imagine it's been 7 years already, but no one can forget it really. That kind of tragedy will never be forgotten, and people who lost their loved ones will forever mourn. It is not easy to lose someone you care about; it is something that I don't think you can ever get over.
Oh, by the way, I am sharing some of the snapshots I took of Tiana, today. I thought she looks so cute and patriotic. As you can see; she wore a top with red, white, and blue. When I went to her school I didn't see any child wearing anything patriotic (not where I was at perhaps), so I guess, not too many people bothers anymore. Oh, well, I just thought it would be courteous, you know. I try to dress my children for the occasion. Okay until here for now. Enjoy the pictures peeps!

Hi everybody! Happy 4th of July!!! It's time to party, celebrate the American Independence Day! I like it here, so I am all for it, I love the holidays. When it is holiday here, you have fun, but, of course, if would be much nicer to have family members around. I always like it when we have people over for the holidays, because it adds excitement; the more the merrier indeed! Anyway, may you all have a great 4th of July! As for ours, we had a rough day but made it fine at the end of the day. I was able to throw the pork ribs on the grill and we had a nice 4th of July dinner. We also watched fireworks right from our backyard. Okay, this is all for now. Have a happy 4th of July and enjoy!

This is to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that others may live safe with peace and freedom. Remembering the ones who were courageous and brave to take a stand and fight for our safety and freedom. They are all heroes and we owe them a great deal of respect. So this Memorial Day, let's take time to pause and thank them for what they have done; preserved the freedom that we have now. Give thanks and salute those who lost their lives giving it and those who are fighting to keep it. They are the reason why we are free and people in other parts of the world. America has what most countries don’t have, and that is freedom; yes, it is the land of the free.

Hi everyone, this is a wish for a "Happy Valentine's Day" to all! I hope you are having a special time with your other half. As for us, we don't have anything like that, my husband and I dismissed the idea of celebrating except for holidays (like Thanksgiving-family get together, and Christmas-for presents) that makes our children happy and overjoyed. It is our children that matters with us anymore, and not us...LOL. I guess that is life with us only, because the rest do celebrate their love, fruitful union, and all the wonderful things they have together. We normally celebrate birthdays, yes, our children's birthdays, and not ours, as ever since a lot of not so pleasant things happened in my life, I didn't want to do anything...LOL. I sometimes get depressed, so that is me. I have always said, there is no sense in getting depress, but then again, we are only human. We have emotions, and there are just times we can't help to be emotional.
Sadness and happiness are two things that makes life a life, I read. It is like a combination of being born and death-live and die thing. Life needs a balance of everything. So we all have to taste everything whether we like it or not, it is like death, we can't stop it. And when it comes to time, we can't turn back the hands of time either. So, it seems life is funny. I mean strange! Who knows what can happen, we can only wonder, and since we don't know, it is best to stay put. I would say just do the best we can, and live life to the fullest everyday of our lives. It is the journey that counts, not the destination, yes, unless it is home-Philippines...LOL. Okay, this is all for now, I hope we all have a kindred spirit this special day. Enjoy life while we can, we only get to live once, you know.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I hope you are having a fun time celebrating. We can certainly take a moment to pause and give thanks. Be thankful no matter what whether you have a lot or you don't, at least you're still here alive and well. Sometimes, that is what counts that you are healthy and doing fine. Anyway, as for us, I am not sure about our celebration; I think this is our thanksgiving gone wrong. I was going to cook a Turkey today but then my husband decided to not bother for some weird reason, he wants me to clean the house first...LOL. Strange eh. So, I'll clean up and get things done and maybe someday our turkey will be cooked...LOL, when I am all done. Okay, have fun peeps! Have a nice day!

It is Halloween night tonight and well, we are off to trick or treat. Tiana went to school bringing her costume in her back pack. She couldn't just wear it as instructed by the school...weird. They are going to have a parade, so we will be going to her school soon to attend it. We want to capture it on video and take a few pictures.
