How I scored in the BillsIQ quiz

I am not exactly in bad shape financially because according to the BillsIQ quiz that I recently took, I am in the middle of the road situation; not so bad but not so good either. I scored below what is considered good. If I ever get buried in debt, I guess I will just have to look into the available option which would be Debt consolidation to free myself from being in so much pressure having to pay a big amount of money every month. So far, I am not tied to paying a lot of money but with the way things are going especially with my family back home, I might just bury myself in debt. We are looking into buying my parents a property in the city, so I guess; I will have to go into debt, since I don't really have the money to be able to pay my share. I am glad though that if I get into trouble, I can always get a Debt help which will get me off from burying myself even deeper in debt. It is always nice that there are other options available to people that have financial problems. Nobody wants to be in debt really, not even I, but sometimes you are stuck in a situation where you have got you've got to do. So, you do what you can even if you have to go into debt, only it is the paying your debt off becomes the hard part. When a debt situation becomes unbearable, there is always a way out of it and that is by consulting a company that offers Debt relief which helps with lowering payments. Everybody wants to get out of debt, and because of such option, it is not so hard making monthly payments anymore.

"Oh, money where art thou?
I am shopaholic, always broke.
How will I pay my bills?

Bought a house, committed myself
in debt, how I can save money?
Life without money, boredom sits in.
No money, no vacation home."

The Power of Prayer

A cousin of mine from Negros Occidental just arrived the other day for a vacation, but then he said that his older brother went to Manila and was never heard from again right around the time that the MV Princess of the stars sunk. Could it be that he was one of the victims, that he drowned? Goodness, I hope not. I have never met them in person but it hurts to know that a relative is gone. So hopefully he is fine, though his brother said that he used to send text messages and all of a sudden he stopped. Who knows why and what happened to him. My father asked me to see about the accounted victims and see if his name is listed. I feel bad for everyone that was on that ship. Anyway, they say the power of prayer helps. So we just never know what can happen. People can never conclude that there is no God or that there is God, for we don't know. However, we can only hope there is God, so people will have some kind of a chance at something that we would like to think is better than our experience on earth, if indeed as such exist. Some people say it is better to believe rather than to live saying there isn't then die and find out there is. I guess it is about making sure that no matter what, you will have a chance. With me, all I want to do is be happy and live my life as best as I can. I never have to worry about anything for I stay put since I don't know, but yes, people shouldn't take things for granted. I can only be myself, and believe on my own terms. Okay, may all the prayers help.

Prayer for the MV Princess of the stars fatalities and survivors.
Dear God, we pray that you comfort each bereaved family everyday as they grieved for their loss, we pray that you will supply all their needs, we pray for the survivors that they may have a good life after the tragedy, that you will bless them and let them know in the deepest part of their heart that in spite of what have happened, you LOVE and CARE for them. This we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

The big part about accomplishing something with me usually is about saving money. That place is loaded with tradition, lots of well preserved history and ancient buildings that holds a story. So, wow, what a nice way to be on vacation, right? By the way, if you are someone who is looking for a nice place to explore, you might consider visiting the places I mentioned here. It is nice to be somewhere new, I know I like it. Personal financial planning

When it comes to financial planning, there are not too many people that can come out successful without the help of a professional. Sometimes we think we know how to manage our money especially when we are old, but some people lose their money so soon because they don't know how to manage their financials and assets. Now in order to plan our future, we would need to have somebody analyze things for us and know where to put our money. What a waste for those who let such opportunity passed, because now they could have been ripping their benefits. Well, anyway, if you are someone who could use some help, if you have a lot of money, see about this personal financial service available for you. You would have a comfortable life later if you get all your ducks in a row. What I mean is if you have professional help, you would have more money and be able to retire early. So there you have it, plan your future ahead, so you can live life to your liking someday. I'd like that for myself in the near future if possible.

Yahooh...I finally have my own credit card!!!

I applied for a credit card last week and now I have my first ever credit card. I am ready to make my first purchase...LOL. Well, I have been thinking about getting a 21 inch monitor so I will be looking around for it. That will be my first purchase then I can build my credit from there. I think it's nice to have a credit card, and with me I will try to maintain a good credit, I can keep control of my spending. I know my boundaries when I have priorities to meet. I have goals to accomplish and I will get there, but at the same time I don't want turn my back on my responsibilities and things that I do especially back home. I can't have fun here while leaving my people struggling to find where their next meal is going to come from. I try to get everything covered, and I am happy enough to have a little of everything. Nobody is left behind with me; I can settle with doing little by little and know that everyone is taken care of. Okay, this is all. I am just excited that my life is in order that I am able to do what I desire to do, slowly but surely. I am getting there, and getting things done.

Worry free online shopping

Nowadays it is not always safe shopping online anymore, because you know, just last month my husband got his credit card number stolen. He received a fraudulent e-mail and actually fell for it, so someone used his credit card number to purchase something online. He later discovered that when he checked his bank account online, and he is fortunate enough that it didn't cost him a lot of money. So now he is getting skeptical about leaving himself too open online. However, I found out that there is a way for him and others who are worried about having their identities stolen, credit card numbers stolen, etc, with these shop safety rules because they can keep their personal information completely secure. Yes, there is a website that enables people to create, manage, usernames passwords, and get anonymous e-mail addresses for any site for free. It protects them from email fraud, spam, phishing, and viruses. People can use it when checking out at any online merchant or online service. Because it is a website that lets them shop online without ever revealing their real personal and financial information to web sites, so it can't be stolen or misused. That is a great way to save yourself from having to worry about someone leaving you in debt. I panic all the time about what can happen to my bank account when some gains access to my personal information. I am glad that such website came along because everybody really needs it to protect their personal information from being stolen. Nobody wants to even imagine something like that happening; that you just wake up and find out you are flat broke and in debt because someone out there had stolen your money.

Here are your questions: Be Honest and True!

1. How did you meet your husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend?
Answer: We met through correspondence; I wrote to him first with added advice by my mother saying "I should only write to one man at a time and if it works then that is it, the end of me"...LOL. Well, it sure worked the first time.
2. Where did you go in your first date?
Answer: There was no dating for us, we got down to business right away...LOL. My husband didn't waste any time taking me anywhere for a date. He already proposed to me in his letter, so it was very direct. If he was a Filipino, for sure, we would have had a date because we had all the time we could need at home-saka masyado akong magpakipot kaya no choice and so date na muna.
3. When was your first intimate kiss?
Answer: The first day my husband arrived, I expected it because with Westerners they usually give you a hug and kiss the minute you meet anyway. I learned that from my cousin who married a western man first.
4. How many girlfriends/boyfriends he/she had in the past? Do you honestly know?
Answer: Who would actually kiss and tell about how many...LOL. No man is that honest, but hey, my husband did confess to having a few.
5. What is his/her ethnicity?
Answer: Caucasian American-true blue American, but, of course, they are all mixed, too.
6. What is his/her favorite food?
Answer: He prefers to stick to what he knows and grew up eating, but occasionally enjoys eating Chinese Food, Mexican Food, Italian Food, and many other when in the mood.
7. What is he/she like if he/she is mad?
Answer: He gets mad like any man would, noisily, I mean verbally. If he gets mad any other way, then I can only say that at least he takes it out on the closest objects in sight and, not on us.
8. What are the things he/she did you thought is the most romantic thing he’d/she’d ever done?
Answer: He requested love songs on the radio for me, sent me flowers, chocolates, and music tapes.
9. Describe how he/you proposed to you?
Answer: He got down on one knee and said "will you be my wife?" inside the hotel room...LOL-nothing out of the ordinary really.
10. Do you find this tag C00L?
Answer: I think so, because I get to share a little about how my partner and I met, etc.

Cheap car rentals and summer special discounts

My husband has a friend in California who always likes to come to Michigan for a visit. He was just visiting us last year; he stayed here for at least a couple of weeks. Now we will be expecting him again for sure, only at this time money is tight with him. So, if he ever decides to take a trip to Michigan, he would have to cut corners. He might be able to manage if he can save money on renting a car. He usually rents a car, and I think he can get by since I found a good car rental company that is offering a summer special of up to a 50% discount on Luxury and Convertible car rentals. That will save him enough money to be able to make it to Michigan for a visit. He likes to hang out with my husband and/or spend the holidays with us here, so he would want to come if he can save money. It also reminds me about visiting my sister Nora in Illinois; maybe we can rent a car, too, since our car is not reliable for us to drive a long way. A dollar a day is very cheap, yes, who can beat that? I will have to see about that in case we decide to visit my sister. Last year I was hoping we could come this summer, you know.

I applied for a job

I am getting tired just sitting pretty at home and going nowhere, so I applied for a job. Hopefully, I will get a call and be working somewhere around here to be able to make extra money. I am planning to save money and get things done in my life. If I sit and wait nothing will ever happen to me. I could sit at home until my hair turns gray...LOL. So, I am beginning to make a move on and change my life. I don't like inactivity, and certainly hate not having extra money in my pocket for shopping. I want my life to be more exciting, make it more interesting because oh, I get awfully bored sometimes. If I am bored I usually don't like to eat; I would have no appetite at all. I think money keeps me sane...LOL, because then I can go shopping and accomplish my goals. Shopping pleases me; it is like a girl's therapy. Having my children keeps me going with being alive because mainly they are my reason for living. Now if only I have a little of everything I will be satisfied. I don't want live a boring life, I tell you. I want to bring in excitement to it by having a little money to spend every once in a while for my expenses and yes, so I can help my family here and back home. I am not retired yet, so I am not willing to sit around...LOL, moreover, I am not that type of person anyway. I always like to be out and doing something I enjoy other than being in front of the computer and blog all day. Stay up almost all night because I can't get off the computer. That is not the kind of life I envisioned and definitely not what I intend to live.

Shopping for summer shoes

This summer we are planning about hanging out in the nearby beach here, and at the moment, I am shopping around for some comfortable shoes to wear. So far I have my eye on these Blowfish Shoes that are nicely designed and seems like they are comfortable to wear. I am looking to get a pair of flip flops for walking in the beach. I saw a pair of beaded flip flops that are affordable enough for me to buy, so I might help myself. Now for those of you who hasn't found the shoes you are looking for, you should check out Blowfish Women's Shoes because they are stylish yet you will only pay less. The prices are not bad at all, in fact you can find those shoes at your local department stores or retail stores. By the way, if you are planning to surprise your significant other, consider checking out these Blowfish Men's Shoes. My husband doesn't have shoes or going to the beach yet, but I don't want to surprise him because usually I end up returning what I buy for him...LOL. So, I can only suggest the site to him and perhaps he can get a pair for himself.

Carpooling helps people save time and money

The gasoline prices are still sky rocketing-it is ongoing. Now here is a seemingly great idea to avoid having to worry so much about paying for high gas prices, because you can carpool. I think it helps people save time and money. Not only that, it is very difficult to divide your time sometimes, so carpooling would be ideal. See, if you are too busy to be able to make it with taking your children to places they want to go every day, you can get a carpool planner and include every family that you like in the group then Divide The Ride. That way you can not only save the money you waste on gas but also save time, and surely you can relax knowing that your children are all set with their rides. So, for those of you who have trouble with taking your children to school because of your hectic schedule, you might want to look into carpooling. There is a way for you to plan a carpool and have everyone you know be involved without making it a complicated process because the site will do it all for you. All you need is provide some information then everybody you put in will be informed. Check it out! It's a neat way to make everything work smoothly; moreover, kids enjoy riding with their friends anyway.
