Mc Cain chose a woman for a vice president and according to the article I read about Sarah Palin; she has "more experience catching fish than dealing with foreign policy". So let's see how she will do with being the the chosen vice president. Some people around our area were shocked about hearing Mc Cain's decision because they thought he would choose Mitt Romney. However, this is quite early to make judgment, because we can never under estimate a person. People should give her a chance to prove herself. I am interested about hearing her speak; I haven't watched the news yet and saw her making her acceptance speech. Okay, this is all for now.

I am thinking about going to the big lake here, perhaps this weekend. So today we are going to go get a fishing license. It's too bad though that if I get one it will only be good for a year. Now we are buying it a little too late, because it won't be long and the weather will get awfully cold. Well, I just thought of going fishing lately, so I am going anyway. My husband will have to take us to the lake. Goodness, I am bored here at home, so it will be nice to go to a lake and see if we can catch anything. I wish I can catch a salmon...LOL. My husband never take us anywhere except to the store being retired he is always at home, and oh, I find it so boring. So I try to find something to do that I can think of sometimes.

A few people already tried to assassinate Barrack Obama. It didn't take long, he is not even a president yet. That says a lot that some people can't accept him just because he is part "Black" as they say-he was fathered by an African descent man. So now his life is at stake because he chose to run for president. I find it sad that people can be so brutal because of the race issue, but I am thankful that the world is not as uncivilized as those in the old days anymore. People are behaving much more respectful of one another compare to what happened long time ago where if someone happens to not like you; you are dead. The people back in those days were hard to deal with, but now it is a little easier. Anyway, I am glad to be apart of this generation and able to see the world as it is. I hope Barrack Obama will be safe and wish him well for what he does trying to make a difference in this country we share now. My husband's son moved to Colorado Springs and left an Xbox 360 System with us-he actually gave it to us. Well, we tried to use it for our daughter, but then since we are not familiar with it, it took us a while to figure out how it works. The only problem is that, it is missing a few things like accessories, and, course, more games. As for now, we will shop around and compare prices I am glad though that I found a website where we can do just that. No job for me until now. I applied for a job to a few places so far but never received a call. So I guess I am going to be just home bound for a while. What makes it difficult is the fact that I am lacking the educational background and the ability to drive, or even have my own car. I don't really like working somewhere unless I have my own car and able to go places all on my own. Relying on someone for transportation is no good. However, if I ever get a job I would have to do what I've got to do so I can improve my life and do the things I wished I can someday. As for now, I will keep trying and see if there is room for me to work at all. My life is hectic though I only have two children to look after, but then, it is a job, you know. In life I can only do what I can and do the best I can, so I'll see what happens next. I hope good things will come my way.

We all gather-round and watched Michelle Obama speak last night. Well, I would say she handled it very well and she said everything just perfectly. Everybody liked it, and admire her for her courage to stand out there and speak like she did. She is indeed intelligent and strong. She's got it together. Now that the Democratic first lady is done speaking, we will be waiting for the republican first lady. That will be the next thing America is going to look forward to.
As for the candidates between Barrack and Hillary, I didn't have any trouble with either one of them to win as the democratic candidate. So if it was Hillary that won it, it would have been fine, too. See, both of them promised a new change, a woman and with Barrack he is bi-racial, so each of them would bring something new to the table. I mean something new anyway.
