Watch the Legend of the Seeker TV Series

Hey everyone, have you heard of the Legend of the Seeker? It is a new TV Series based on the bestselling works of author Terry Goodkind and it will be premiering as a 2 hour special event this coming November 1st. I saw the first 10 minutes clip of it and I can tell you it will be a lot of fun to watch for sure. So I am looking forward to watch it soon, it actually reminds me of the Lord of the Rings and Xena the Warrior Princes as it is full of action-adventure, fantasy, magic, mystery and romance. By the way, I would like to share a clip of the Legend of the Seeker TV Series that I found at the http://www.legendoftheseeker.com/ website. You should drop by there for more information about this most anticipated TV Series. You don't want to miss anything as it is filmed in New Zealand. The backdrop is breathtaking.

Make extra money by being an extra in a movie

This is it a chance for some of us who aspires to be one of the shining stars in Hollywood to be in the movies. Well, don't we all at one point in our lives think about how nice it would be to be rich and famous like the celebrities? I always wonder about how fun it must be to be able to go shopping anytime I want to, buy the things I want like designer wardrobes, out of this world vehicles, own a luxury home, and have people catering to me...LOL. I actually didn't dream to be in a spotlight (though if I had the height and looks surely I would aspire as one of the Hollywood stars for sure) but still if given a chance I couldn't see why not. Now perhaps I can see about becoming one of the movie extras that Talent6 are seeking (anyone is welcome from age 18-85 and from anywhere in the country). I would not mind being in the background of the actual actors and actresses since that is as far as I can get. Not to mention I can at least get a glimpse of them in person. So I would love to be an extra for a movie especially when I get paid $100.00 to $300.00 dollars a day. By the way, if you are someone who aspires to be an actress or an actor here is what I can tell you that it begins by making a phone call to this toll free number: (800-493-9047) to talk with a portfolio manager for your chance to get casted as an extra in a movie. If you have what it takes you might even get discovered and soon enough you'll be one of Hollywood's brightest stars as to say you just never know.

Tea-House Moon by Enya

I just adore the melody that music has and the lonely sound reminds me of a place where it is peaceful and surrounded by the beauty of nature. I think it is great, very calming especially to kids. That is what I have been hearing lately since I subscribed to Yahoo uninterrupted launchcast music. I like it a lot and I am going to look for the midi format so I can add it here for my background music. Okay, this is all for now. I am kinda busy at the moment and aching all over because I have been trying to exercise. It hurts the first time, and sitting in front of the computer all the time doesn't help either, this is why I have got to have a laptop soon...LOL. So I can blog on the go even if I am at the park with the kids, or hanging out at the beach especially this summer.

Second Guessing by Johnny Lang

My husband is into blues, and since I am the kind of person that likes any music, I also like some songs he listens to whenever I can catch them-if I am paying attention. One of the blues music artists I like is Johnny Lang, and he has a number of songs that I really like, one of which I am sharing here with a nice tune to it. My husband's son came by one day and gave him a new CD of Johnny Lang's music, and I found one particular song that I like best, entitled "Second Guessing". I mostly like the beat, the keyboard sounds nice, and the guitar playing is excellent, what I mean is I like the way Johnny Lang played the guitar in such song. Anyway, I looked for it online through YouTube, and I can only find a video that was made by somebody who went on vacation. So I just grabbed it. It's too bad nobody uploaded the original video of that song. Now, the first song is what I like, so enjoy hearing it too, if you like upbeat music. I like blues, only not all blues music, just certain ones that are upbeat.

Brother Louie by Modern Talking

I was looking for a good video of my hometown a while ago, but didn't really find any worth watching because all I saw was people goofing around. I wish I can see how Bayawan and Kalumboyan have changed. If I ever get to visit my homeland, I will take my time with taking a video of my homeland, so each time I miss it there, I can just watch the video. I actually did record a little bit of my hometown including our farm, and I am glad I did, because I can look back at how it used to look. Now, my people told me that it has changed so much with roads being built in all over the place. Anyway, while I was searching for a good video, I came across a video that featured one of the 80's music that I used to hear often at home, happened to like it. So, here, let me leave you the music of the 80's that is upbeat entitled "Brother Louie" by the Modern Talking band. It makes people dance, and I can only imagine how much fun people had those days dancing on such an upbeat song. So, I was just reminded of that song when I heard it on a video today. By the way, the strange thing we noticed when we saw it on the video for the first time is that the singer looks like a woman and sounds like a woman, but it is a man that only has a more feminine voice. Vocally he sounds more like a woman singing...LOL, also wearing lipstick...yaw! Maybe he is gay...LOL, or just appear like one.

The Knocked Up movie with Katherine Heigl

We saw the Knocked Up movie some time ago, and I tell you, the script involved a lot of "F" words. Almost everyone in the movie speaks with the "F" words every so often. So, that didn't go so well, it is somewhat funny, a romantic comedy movie, but because of the dirty words, it got a little annoying, and definitely not for kids because of the graphic nature-uncensored scenes...LOL. Anyway, the leading lady is the beautiful Katherine Hiegel. I like her and you know she is one of the actresses of today that I find stunningly gorgeous. Imagine she has what people call "perfect body measurement" of 36-26-36. She definitely has it all; she is tall and beautiful. I almost got her mixed up with Helen Hunt. Okay, that is all, I just thought it is interesting to share about the celebs I admire and know about so far.

Lambada is the forbidden dance

It's the weekend and I was on YouTube searching for some upbeat songs, and happened to remember "Lambada" as one of the upbeat songs that I used to hear a lot in my homeland. It is a hit with everybody that like its beat, but I haven't heard about it being a forbidden dance though. I guess in other countries such as the U.S. it is forbidden because it is too sexy or sexual. My husband said that it was not allowed in the U.S. for a while, but with the way people are today, surely, it is now welcome. People ought to see how some of the music artists dance today...LOL, to mention a few; Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Madonna. Sex sale as they say, so almost anything goes these days. The parents just need to keep control of what shows their children watch for discretion. Anyway, I like Lambada, and the way people dance to that song. It is upbeat and fun to dance as far I am concerned. It sounds good and I am for it. The people in south America particularly in Brazil are more open when it comes to sexuality, some of them even goes to the beach bare naked. So apparently there is no malice there and everyone can do as they please. It's kind of nice; it is just that children may learn something they are not supposed to learn just yet. That is the only problem; a beach should have those people if only adults are allowed there. That is unless, of course, nudity is natural in the culture.
Alright, here is Lambada by Kaoma. My girls and I enjoyed dancing today, just having fun...LOL.

Change the way you hear music

Digital radio has change the way we hear music these days. Imagine, now we no longer have to worry about hearing a static when we change a station and/or try to tune in to our favorite stations. There is no more interruptions, no more breaking up while we are listening to our favorite tunes. A digital radio is free then we only need the HD Radio Receiver to hear all the music we want with unbeatable clarity. We all want to hear music the way we should, so it is time to upgrade. Now for some of us that have iPods, we can now tag a song directly from our digital radio that whenever we hear a good song, we can immediately tag it and be able to purchase and download it from Apple® iTunes Music Store. What a great way to listen to music and get music to be in our iPods’ playlists. One must have the iPod dock with iTunes Tagging to be able to do such music tagging though, so be sure to get one if you don't have one yet. As for the stations, there are so many stations that we can find nearest to where we live. My family and I live in Michigan, and when I visited the site I found some stations closest to us in Detroit. Anyway, for those residing in Your York, there are so many New York High Definition Radio stations there, too. Just come by the site and see for yourself. It's time to change the way you hear music.

Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now

Who can possibly not like such an upbeat song? Oh, that song rocks! I love it as I am an upbeat person, so naturally I like upbeat music. The "Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now" song is one of my favorite songs, you know. The first time I heard it, I already liked it. What a nice song. So I had to share it here. It is quite an old song now, but it is timeless. Everybody still likes it up to this day. Anyway, that is what came to my mind this morning when I got up. I was visiting my Random Matters blog and played it because I have it below my blog for my music back ground, only sang by my fellow Filipinos. I couldn't find the original so I had to settle for what I can find. There is nothing like the origial for sure. Okay this is all for now. Enjoy hearing the song I have here. And by the way, I saw the "Mannequin" movie featured on the video here. I had fun time watching it; a romantic comedy movie. It is hilarious to watch as it reminds me of the "Pink Panther" movies seeing the lead police officer always aggravated and get into so much trouble...LOL. The characters really fit their roles, and I would say Kim Katrall is drop dead gorgeous-being the mannequin, and, of course, the guy is cute. As for the others, they are the original singers of the song the "Starship". I just don't remember seeing the Starship people in the movie though, but more likely because I didn't know about them before.

A site that has all the best rappers listed

When it comes to music, anything goes with me. However, there are times when I prefer to listen to a certain type of music to set the mood. I like all types of music, it can be any genre. Rap music is still somewhat new to me; I haven't heard such type of music at home before. But now I do and I actually like some of the songs I hear on the radio by various artists. I especially like the upbeat ones as I am an upbeat person. By the way, speaking of rap music, I found a new website that was launched to promote lots of best rappers around in the music world today. So if you enjoy rap music, the site would be the one for you. Perhaps you can find your favorite rap artist there and be able to see the new songs listed as well as read the biography. How nice I think, so come by and take a look!

No Arms Can Ever Hold You

I was reminded today about the video I found on youtube of the song I like sang by Chris Norman. He must be a German because I never really heard of him before. I only heard one song by him on the radio coming live from the Philippines some time ago. It touched my heart when I heard it because I think it is very soulful. What a love song, I like it a lot. It is romantic, and I can imagine, it would make someone fall in love hearing it. Anyway, let me share the video and hear the music entitled "No Arms Can Ever Hold You"-by Chris Norman.

A music toolbar where I can listen to my favorite music

I am always on the computer whenever I have some time to sit down, and one thing I usually do is have a music on. Now, do you know where I listen to some of my favorite music? Well, I discovered a new way for me to listen to all the great hits I love of the old days and today. In fact, as we speak I am listening to my favorite artist, yes, it is so much fun because I found this website where I downloaded a Music Toolbar that is letting me pick the kind of music I want to listen to. So, wow, that is so neat, I would recommend it to people looking to tune in to the type of music they like as well as find their favorite artists. All you have to do is click the pull down menu, pick the music mode you are into, pick your artist, and there you have it, you will hear all the available songs of such artist. I like it, so you guys should check it out!

Our daughter wants to learn how to play piano

Our daughter has been asking for a piano, and well, that is what she received for Christmas (it is a small keyboard actually). Anyway, we want her to learn how to play piano like her Aunt did. However, she is no longer around and perhaps this Piano lessons & piano chords will help her. We can visit a blog and get all the helpful information she needs as there is a free piano lessons email newsletter on piano chords and chord progressions. We can receive it every 5 days or so and lasts for 101 issues. That is nice since there is no cost for it. The author is also selling full-blown piano courses on DVD for adults, mentioned in the newsletters but there is never any obligation to purchase them. So, if you would like to see about it, you should visit the blog.

Upbeat and catchy tune...

I love upbeat music, and you know I found a catchy tune online. It is entitled "Stumblin In" sung by Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman, only the video I am sharing here is not them as the actual singers. I just found it online through "YouTube". It is nice which is why I like it and had to share it...LOL. It is, however, a very old song, older than I am, from the late 70's. But it's worth listening to if you like such type of music. I like any music as long as it sounds good or pleasing to hear. So, here let me take the opportunity to make my blog a little entertaining. Enjoy the beat! Don't you think the young couple looks sweet, and fun to watch? I do, we enjoyed watching them, and sing-a-long with them as well-they're lip synching...LOL. The guy sounds gay...LOL, listen to his voice when his girlfriend gave him a smack in the face. Slapped him so loudly you can hear it, or was it just an act like in the movies...LOL. They look kinda alike, as if, well, they could be brothers and sisters-siblings goofing around...LOL. Okay, until here for now, let me know what you think of the song. Here is the post where I shared the video of the real singers on my journal.
Ah...ohhh...I guess they both turned into a kitten and a puppy...look!

All about the latest Halloween movie...

There is a new movie coming up directed by Rob Zombie entitled Halloween the movie. Now, it is exciting indeed to be looking forward to seeing it premiering soon by the end of this month. I would be interested to see it in the big screen. It sounds like a very good scary movie. The young kids usually get scared of the boogie man. My husband mentions that once in a while and that spooks our daughter out when she doesn't listen not to wander off in the dark. Anyway, we enjoy watching scary movies every once in a while, it is something new for us. As for those scary movie fans, here, check out the video clip I have embedded here. It can make you jump...! And so, be sure to watch for Halloween the movie premiering in the theater near you. Seeing the video clip, reminds me of the other Halloween scary movies before especially those that has Mike Myers or Jason characters. Those movies can certainly make you afraid of the dark. So, if you are into watching scary movies, be sure to watch for this one. It is suspense full of dramatic and scary acts. You will enjoy it.
