I applied for a credit card last week and now I have my first ever credit card. I am ready to make my first purchase...LOL. Well, I have been thinking about getting a 21 inch monitor so I will be looking around for it. That will be my first purchase then I can build my credit from there. I think it's nice to have a credit card, and with me I will try to maintain a good credit, I can keep control of my spending. I know my boundaries when I have priorities to meet. I have goals to accomplish and I will get there, but at the same time I don't want turn my back on my responsibilities and things that I do especially back home. I can't have fun here while leaving my people struggling to find where their next meal is going to come from. I try to get everything covered, and I am happy enough to have a little of everything. Nobody is left behind with me; I can settle with doing little by little and know that everyone is taken care of. Okay, this is all. I am just excited that my life is in order that I am able to do what I desire to do, slowly but surely. I am getting there, and getting things done.

I meant to share some snapshots I have taken of my workstation and my new desktop computer some time ago, but I never was able to do so. Now I decided to only share a photo of me by my workstation at home. It is where I do my graphic editing peeps and where I sometimes sit down to blog if my newly bought laptop is not available. I bought my desktop computer back in January 2008 I think it was. I just can't remember anymore, but it is around that time. My desktop came with a 19" widescreen BriteView flat panel LCD monitor, and the CPU is powered by the Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor, with an enormous 3GB memory, an extra-large 400GB hard drive, and many more fancy stuff that I can't tell you since I don't want to go on and on. Those things I mentioned are the main points anyway-they make up for the picture. Now as for how much I paid for my desktop, I can only tell you that I was lucky to find a deal just when I was really looking to buy a new computer. I was able to purchase it under a $1,000 dollars. So, that is the middle of the road price. It is not bad at all for a computer that seems to have it all for what I need. That is all I need for now really, unless I am actually doing something extra important like basing a major job on my computer. So far I don't see anything in which I would need to rely on my computer so much. When I was looking for a computer, I was going to settle for the 2 GB Memory 500 GB Hard Drive having only the windows home basic, but then why get it when I can get a higher level of vista. My computer has the Windows Vista Home Premium. So I was fortunate to find a deal and saved at least $200 dollars because of the rebate. It is smart to shop around and be more patient with waiting for the sale. That is how I was able to buy my latest gadgets. I save all the time because I know how to shop smart...LOL. Yep, take it from me, you won't have to pay top dollar if you can wait.

We purchased a few vacuums and found out that it pays to have a quality one. We used to go for the cheapest possible, but then we get what we paid for, and well, the vacuums we have had through the years all died on us so soon. We recently bought a temporary vacuum because my husband is looking for a vacuum that doesn't use any rubber belt, as rubber belts easily break. He did a research about what is the best vacuum to get, and he said it is the Dyson vacuum because it does everything. It cleans any floor thoroughly, and it works best for those who have pets in their house because it helps with keeping the air clean. It has the power to keep your house dust free, with a filter made to get rid of pet dander, pollen, and dust. So my husband is planning to get a Dyson vacuum someday whenever he has the money to be able to do so. Finding a good deal is not so hard because there are so many sites that offer reasonable prices, one of which is a website by 1AwsomeVac-a dealer that sell brand new vacuums in Factory Sealed Cartons, and where we could get a new Dyson vacuum. So, how nice because they have the lowest prices that we can find around the web.

We will need to buy a video camera soon due to that our old video camera is no longer working like it should. It is a Sony video camera that we bought 7 years ago, only not it is finally going kaput. We try hard to use it again but it is just not cooperating. It bothers me because we paid good money for it. We paid almost $500.00 USD for it, and hardly used it but not it is gone. What a waste. I guess we didn't use it enough time that is why it got screwed up. It wouldn't work, it gives us errors, and I think the fact that we had it setting too long not being used literally destroyed it. Now we have to work on finding a quality video, so we can capture the special moments in life. Our baby girl Hannah is growing so fast and we can't just let it go not taking videos of her. We did that with Tiana, so we have quite a lot of video montage of Tiana's baby years. Now we need to do the same with Hannah, so neither one of them will be asking any question why and why this and that wasn't done when I was a baby. We would otherwise deal with the unfairness issue someday. Anyway, I am supposed to be preparing our dinner tonight, so let me go for now. I need to throw a few steaks on the grill and grill some asparagus as well to go with the steaks. Steaks are great eaten with asparagus, you know. My husband prefers a baked potato with his piece of steak with a little rice on the side while Tiana, Hannah, and I have rice with our steaks. It is always with rice with us, I like course rice with steaks really if I am eating out. Okay, this is all, see yah!

We are going out today and go to some stores we usually go to. I wish I can buy a camera because I spotted an on sale Canon Camera on the paper ad today. But I don't think I can because I don't have the money right now...LOL. It's too complicated for me to have to borrow money elsewhere, perhaps someday when I am desperate. Okay, this is all for now, I will need to get going here before it's too late. It is already 3:00 o' clock PM. Oh, goodness will be too late for going shoppig, looking around. My husband has to go to his bank to exchange the Euro money I received from a friend. I'll blog about it later.

I want to make a post about my new monitor screen that came with my new computer. Well, it is a 19" HP LCD monitor screen. So there it is peeps, some of you were curious to see my new computer and asked me about seeing it, however, I just haven't had any time to edit all my photos and share them here. I will share them as soon as they become available, yeah, when I have time to put them into a slideshow, so you can see my workstation as well with me in the picture...LOL. I am not showing off, just sharing about what I recently bought for myself. As for my new screen, my husband needs a new monitor so he will end up with the one I have here now because I am planning to get a 20" monitor screen for my online movies. That is what I wanted the first time, but I didn't get to buy it, because this screen came with my computer. It was all a package, on sale and so I had no way to exchange it even when I asked. Okay, this is all for now. We will be going out to check out another computer that has wireless keyboard and mouse for my future purchase, because I need one that is built for multi-tasking and is a lot faster when it comes to web-browsing. My husband can use this computer if I am not on it. Our old computer is almost kaput anyway-I still need to retrieve all my files there. This computer I have now will be for graphics (my husband and I do graphics editing; his is Engineering though while mine is just playing around-for a hobby...LOL) and video games, and movies I watch online coming from my homeland. My husband bought a new DVD player and finally we can rent DVD movies and watch them when we get off the computer. We are practicing a healthy habit; sleeping early and eating right. Exercise as soon as the weather is reasonable. So that is it, we are trying to do the right thing so we can live longer and be around for our children who needs us most. How nice I thought that he found a DVD player on sale and was able to buy it cheap enough. It is however, just to use temporarily because he wants an all-region DVD player because I like to rent movies from my homeland. The last time I rented some, I only wasted money because it didn't play on our DVD. Well, that was a waste of money for sure. The next time I start renting we have to have the all-region DVD player first to avoid wasting any more money as I would rather give the money to my people back home. I feel bad for all my loved ones and so I help them all I can and whenever possible. A little money makes them happy and put a smile on their faces. Oh, I enjoy it when I see them smiling back at me. It makes it all worth it for me to help them and know that it makes a difference in their lives somehow-being not so fortunate to have all the money and material things in the world. They certainly appreciate having someone like me who is generous enough to think of them all. That is one thing I wish we had when I was young. Anyway, I don't mind helping them because what matters to me is not what they can give back as I in no means expect anything in return when I give. I expect nothing in return but only their happiness that I can see them smiling and little kids jumping for joy. That is all. As for our new DVD, yeah, I just wanted to jot down a little of everything especially the new DVD my husband purchase just yesterday. I am just glad we can watch DVD movies again, as we can rent them right around the corner of our house. So close to just run to and get a movie, how convenient.

I wish we can move to a bigger house. Our house has some spaces that we don't really get to use a lot, like we have a Florida room-sunroom, and an upstairs. Nobody can live upstairs because it is so cold up there with no heat, except if we use an electric heater. As for our back porch-sunroom, well, it is also cold there, and we only get to use it during the summer. So, I am hoping that next year it will be a seller's market because we want to get rid of our house. I like it here, but the house is too small for all of us.
Our children needs their own rooms, my husband likes to have his own, too, for his stuff and hobbies. I would want my own, so I can decorate it like I want. Anyway, I am just ranting, wishing for something that is not possible right now. I thought I would just jot down about it, since my sister Nora and her family is also looking for a new house. They are hoping to move to a bigger house as well, with plenty of room for everyone like we want. Yes, they are in the process of house hunting. I like it, it is exciting. Nora and I were just discussing about it the other day. We can only dream about owning some of those houses that has it all to offer...LOL.

I wish I have my own vehicle because I would like to go shopping all alone where nobody is waiting for me to get done. You see, each time we go shopping I always have to rush. I can't even look around because my husband and kids are already waiting for me. I hate that, so whenever I can save money and get things done with my people back home, I plan to purchase a vehicle. Maybe someday if I get lucky and when our daughters are not so dependent on me. I will go out there and work myself off to make things happen...LOL. Things will only happen if I make them happen anyway, so in order for me to get things I want, I have to work hard. A good thing that there are money making schemes online that helps me a lot right now. Otherwise, I wouldn't have much. Whew! What a relief, I can actually go shopping when I want to and spend my hard earned money. I really should save because I am causing my own demise...LOL. Okay till here for now. Nighty folks!

We won the dispute that we had over buying the wrong computer...yahooh! I can finally get what I want this time because I didn't get what I wanted the first time. So, hopefully this time around, I will get my new computer that has plenty of room for my new developed hobby: digital scrapbooking and photography. I won't have any trouble then. The computer I want to get is a simple yet has a lot of hard disk space; 320 GB. Oh, it will surely give me a lot of room to grow, actually to be creative and even design blogs and graphics that I want to share to people. I am thinking about creating my own clip arts. I have some on the computer that I just need to animate or whatever to make them interesting. Anyway, I have gotta go for now, something came to my mind that maybe I want to go out to eat tonight...LOL. Okay, till here, night peeps!
